Fort Reno Website Restored
The Fort Reno website was recently hacked but is now up and running, hosted on a new server. The web address remains the same, www.fortreno.com, and the concert series is scheduled to go on as usual with dates to be announced soon.
In the meantime, the continued success of the series is dependent on donations and the organizers need your help to meet the expenses for the upcoming season. You can donate at the Fort Reno website and you can also find more information by visiting or joining the Fort Reno Facebook Group.

The Dischord LP Re-Mastered Series
In mid 2008 Dischord Records began re-mastering and re-cutting much of our vinyl catalog here in the United States (after years of making our records in Europe). The first of these re-mastered LPs appeared at the end of 2008 and we will continue to roll out newly re-issued LPs throughout 2009. We began by re-pressing current titles, and later re-issuing older titles, all re-cut at Chicago Mastering Service (many from from the Silver Sonya masters). All the re-mastered albums feature complimentary MP3 album downloads.
For a complete list of our re-mastered LPs go here: Dischord re-mastered LPs
Dischord has always enjoyed very high quality vinyl mastering. For many years much of our vinyl was mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London by our friend and partner John Loder, who passed away in 2005. But the metal-work that is used to press vinyl LPs eventually wears out with use and we decided that with John's passing and with a renewed interest in vinyl that it was time to bring these projects back home and pass the torch to Bob Weston and Jason Ward at Chicago Mastering Service.

United Mutation to Re-issue Debut EP
The long out of print United Mutation debut EP, Fugitive Family, originally released in 1983 as a split between Dischord and DSI Records, is available for the first time as an MP3 release on the Dischord website. United Mutation will join Malefice, RUSTBUCKiT, and more live at the Punk Rock Family Reunion presented by DSI Records Alumni at Jammin Java in Vienna, Virginia on April 5th.
DSI is also working on re-issuing the Fugitive Family/Rainbow Person EPs on CD and will have them available at the show on April 5th. This will be the first release on the DSI Archives Label, which will be re-releasing various projects from DSI bands as well as oddities from the same. Once these CDs are available we will carry them here at Dischord.
