Deathfix Fall Tour Dates With Pinback

Next week, Deathfix will head out on a two-week tour of the East Coast and Midwest supporting Pinback. The trip kicks off at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall on September 3 and continues through Detroit, Toronto, Hamden and a number of other cities.

This will be the band’s first trip with new drummer Jerry Busher, who will be replacing Devin Ocampo. Jerry is a long-time friend of the band and has performed with Fugazi, French Toast, and All Scars, among myriad other DC groups.

Jawbox’s “Grippe” is Back in Print

Jawbox's first album, Grippe, is back in print on LP.

The record has been recut by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service and has been pressed on translucent purple vinyl. It comes with a complimentary download card, which includes the album tracks plus five extra songs — the four tracks from Jawbox's 7" debut EP and the song "Footbinder," which first appeared on the Simple Machines compilation EP, Screw.
