Three And Lungfish Albums Get Re-Issued On CD & LP
The Three, Dark Days Coming, and Lungfish, Pass & Stow albums are being re-issued on CD and LP and will be available September 20th in stores and are on sale NOW from the Dischord website. These albums have been out of print on both formats for some time and both were re-cut and re-mastered from original tapes at Chicago Mastering Service. The Lungfish album artwork has been re-built from Daniel Higgs' original art pieces (many of the old records from our catalog were never digitized and so had to be re-built). Both 12" LPs feature Mp3 downloads. The Dark Days Coming CD features 10 extra tracks of demos and outtakes and the free MP3 Download and Digital Release will include these tracks.

Daniel Higgs Exhibition at Needles & Pens in SF
Daniel Higgs and Kyle Ranson will exhibit art from their book collaboration, "Morph Traits" at the Needles & Pens art gallery in San Francisco, CA. The opening is Thursday September 9 from 7-9pm.
The "Morph Traits" exhibition will display a collection of 44 drawings that are the result of a collaborative exercise between Kyle Ranson and Daniel Higgs. Consummated in 1991 and set aside, this back and forth practice continued intermittently over the next 16 years through brief encounters and the postal system. In 2007, the two geographically separated artists reinitiated the game and it was decided to create a volume of these works. Three years in the making, this assemblage evolved into what became known as the Morph Traits.
Needles & Pens is located at 3253 16th Street,
San Francisco, California.
