Windows 2000 / Internet Explorer Conflict Fixed!
People who use the combination of the Windows 2000 operating system and Internet Explorer (IE) web-browser can now order from the Dischord Records web-store
People who use the combination of the Windows 2000 operating system and Internet Explorer (IE) web-browser can now order from the Dischord Records web-store. Our programmers were able to isolate the conflict that was occurring between these two programs and create a patch to over-ride the defect.
The Dischord Records website was built to meet current web standards and to function with the vast majority of current and older systems. However, creating a system that adheres to new standards while remaining fully functional on older systems remains a challenge so we thank you for your patience and understanding. As always, if you are having difficulty ordering from our website you can call us at 703-351-7507 and place an order over the telephone.
We still recommend the Firefox and Safari web-browsers, simply because our website was designed in these environments and looks best using their tools. However, Internet Explorer should now function properly. Regardless of what browser you use, you will want to have javascript enabled and have your program set to accept cookies. You may also need to reset your cache (temporary internet files) so that your bowser doesn't reload the older version of the store.
