I recently bought this and Margin Walker on vinyl after years of having the 13 Songs CD and I was surprised by two things:

1. The fidelity of the audio is shockingly good. I have a nice system, a diverse music collection, and I am convinced this is the best sounding record in the collection. AND it's Fugazi! Yay! I seriously play this record if I want visitors to hear how good my system is. Dischord obviously cares about their customers with the amount of love put into this pressing.

2. This album on vinyl is a revelation. This album is so familiar to me but it feels like it has new life. I am a middle-aged woman who first heard "Waiting Room" 30 years ago, and this album has me singing and dancing like I'm 19 again. There's magic in this wax.

A groundbreaking album. Not only to the DC community but across the nation. Fugazi took the DIY ethic in everything that they did and was able to do what nobody else could. And that was have a group of guys who not only enjoyed being in a band with each other and playing the music that they loved, but kept corporate and big business out of the mix. They forever have my respect for that.

who knew this would turn out to be the greatest band to ever walk the earth. once "waiting room" starts there is no turning back.
