  <title>Dischord Records News</title>
  <link>http://www.dischord.com/</link>
<description>Dischord Records was created in 1980 to document the music coming out of the Washington, D.C. punk community. The label has put out the work of over 40 bands, and has distributed hundreds of other releases connected to the D.C. area. We will continue our work as long as this community continues to create music that speaks to us. Thanks.</description>

<title>Fort Reno Closed Due to High Levels Of Arsenic </title>
<description>Fort Reno, the park in Northwest DC which is home to the Fort Reno Summer Concert Series, has been closed &quot;immediately and Indefinitely&quot; by the US Park Service due to the discovery of high levels of arsenic in the soil. Until further testing is complete it is unclear what this means for this summer's concert schedule. However, there have been free concerts every summer in Fort Reno for over 30 years and the volunteers who manage the concert series still need your support, be it to fund this year's concerts as scheduled, to find another venue, or to plan something altogether different.
