John Darnielle (Mountain Goats) tells a nice story about working security at this show, on Turned Out a Punk podcast episode 219 at about 55:22.

I remember this amazing show! Ian stopped the show when people in the pit were getting out of hand.

This was my first time being introduced to The Make Up after NOU. One of my top shows ever. Big props to the recording engineers.

This was my 23rd birthday -- two of my favorite bands (Fugazi AND Shellac!) playing at a roller rink! Happy birthday to me. I remember feeling very loved because a lot of my friends came with me even though they didn't necessarily like these bands or even punk music in general. Shellac didn't make any new fans among my friends that night, but Fugazi did.

I was at this show. I had one of the "Fudgezi" posters I got off the wall after the show. It later got stolen off my wall at a party at ISU. I wish I still had it and I hope they make this recording available some day. I'd like to hear it again. It's fun show memory from when I was only 19 that gotten a foggy.

This was, by far, the best show ive ever been to.
Whenever anyone asks me if i could do one thing over in my life i always tell them it would be to go back to this show.

I'd never been to a Punk Rock Show(tm) before this one. I remember it being really awesome, and will download it in a second when it's added. I'd never seen/heard Shellac and remember thinking Todd Trainer was the weirdest, coolest guy in the world(no offense to Fugazi, of course).

I remember how the orderly line outside of the venue turned into a mad rush once the doors were open. This show was so great. I waved to Ian from the crowd and he waved back. That was pretty thrilling for me as I was 16 at the time. This was before the Rainbo got torn down and they found bones and tennis shoes buried underneath it.

I cut out of my darkroom class early to make it to the show.
